Media Arts Studio
The Media Arts Program offers a wide array of classes and clubs, a work-study program, and media making support for all students. Located in the Media Arts Studio on the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School campus, the program provides in school and after school media arts education for the district. Completed student work is shown on Cambridge cable channel 98 and the live channel stream, available on Youth View Cambridge, archived here, and screened at our annual Media Festival.

Our Mission
Our mission is to teach real-world technical experience to the youth of our community and help them produce content that will be broadcasted and streamed to the greater city-world. We focus on the Cambridge Public Schools and educational access.
Media Arts Studio (MAS)

The Media Arts program addresses the ever-increasing need for 21st century citizens to create media and utilize new technologies. Students may choose media making courses in Digital Film, Media Journalism, Music, and Sound Design, from introductory through advanced multi-media production and distribution. Courses offer theory, pre-production, production and distribution skill development, and include collaborative projects that provide first hand experience with professional media makers. Media Arts courses are available to all students.
The Media Arts program offers a RSTA concentration eligible for Chapter 74 Certification. There are different options for a student to successfully fulfill the 5 required courses to become a Media Arts Chapter 74 completer. Chapter 74 Certification benefits include: internships, enhanced college admission opportunities, and advanced standing in college media art classes. You do not need to be enrolled in the RSTA program to take our level 1 courses.
Media Arts Classes

Media Arts Studio After School
There are many opportunities to learn and work on media projects after school, whether in a club, as a work-study student, or to get support on your own media project. Learn more about our equipment and spaces and come and visit us!
